Crispy Oil-Free French Fries

Do you want some crispy delicious french fries that don’t require a drop of oil? This is it!

Serves: 4 servings as a side dish


INGREDIENTS:

8 medium potatoes - we like russets for this

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp chilli powder

Toppings of your choice (ketchup, malt vinegar, mustard, tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, etc… Whatever the hell you fancy)


DIRECTIONS:

Wash and cut the potatoes into somewhat thick wedges.


Toss into a pot of COLD water: enough to cover and bring it to a boil and let it go for 5 minutes. While this is happening pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees F.


After boiling drain the potatoes and then put them right back into the pot - cover with all the spices, put the lid on, and then SHAKE THE HELL OUT OF IT. Seriously - this is the most important step to making these crispy and delicious without any oil.

Spread evenly on baking sheets on top of parchment or silicon. Bake for 25 minutes.

Top with whatever you like (malt vinegar is exceptionally awesome on them) and SMASH THEM INTO YOUR FACE.
