Choco-Gingerbread Walnut Brownie
Words cannot express how delicious these spiced moist little buggers are. They are packed with iron and other shit that’s good for you. No oil used either! Ain’t that sweet?!

Serves: 16 (depends how you cut ‘em!)

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup blackstrap molasses
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 cups oat flour
2 tbsp flax meal
1/4 cup unsweetened nondairy milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3 & 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup, chopped Walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Mix all the dry ingredients together in one bowl. If you just made your oat flour in a blender make sure that shit is broken apart so you don’t have any clumps.
Mix all the wet ingredients together in another bowl.
Combine the wet ingredient mix into the dry mix. Just give it a couple good stirs to make sure all that dry shit is in with the wet.
Fold in most of dark chocolate chips & walnuts (save a handful of each if you want to make 'em prettier).
Pour brownie mixture into a silicon 9-in square pan - if you don’t have silicon then line the pan with parchment paper. When it's all set in there give it a little smack to settle. Sprinkle the rest of your chocolate chips and brownies on top.
Bake for 30 minutes. Do the toothpick test to see if it’s done - if it’s not - throw it back in for 2-3 minutes at a time, checking. You don’t want to over cook it.
After it’s done let it cool at least 20 minutes before taking it out of the pan. It might be a bit squishy - that’s good - it means that shit is amazingly moist!
Cut into 16 squares, or however the fuck you want to cut it. SMASH IT INTO YOUR MOUTH. It’s soooo goddamn good.

TIPS:
Feel free to omit the chocolate chips and walnuts - or swap with another nut. Whatever you want.
To make ‘em look fancy you can dust them with cocoa powder or icing sugar.
